The 2018 Consumer Electronics Show is wrapping up today, bringing an end to a week's worth of non-stop announcements about all of the new products we can expect to see over the course of the year. The best way to play PUBG on Linux Ubuntu is to use the VirtualBox, install the Windows OS and Tencent buddy software mentioned in this article. Maybe in future, if the Tencent buddy app emulator available for Ubuntu/linux then there would be no need of Virtualbox but until this is the best way.
The battle royale hit PUBG has made its way to iOS, and PUBG Mobile is ready to download!
Whether you've been lucky enough to have the game since it launched, or you're just downloading it right now, you may be wondering what it's all about.

Here's everything you need to know about Fortnite Battle Royale.
What's new in PUBG Mobile?
April 2, 2019: PUBG Mobile adds a subscription plan for player rewards
PUBG Mobile has introduced, not one, but two different subscription plans that will allow players to earn Unknown Cash (UC) and grants the ability to use Battle Points (BP) on in-game purchases and some more goodies.
The subscriptions come in two tiers, Prime and Prime Plus, and cost $0.99/month and $4.99/month respectively.
The basic Prime tier offers will give players 5 UC a day and the ability to use BP to make in-game purchases. The move expensive Prime Plus offers 20 UC daily, the chance to use BP on in-game purchases, but it also grants discounts on in-game loot and items every day. That's not all, Prime Plus members will also receive 10 Royale Points per day and a 50% discount in entering the Classic Crate Dialy Lottery.
PUBG Mobile still remains free-to-play, meaning you don't have to purchase either subscription, but for avid fans and players this subscriptions could be worth it.
May 15, 2018: New map, weapons, and vehicles in PUBG Mobile update!
The new update to PUBG Mobile has been released for iOS, and there's plenty of new goodies for players!
The desert terrain map, called Miramar, is now available for selection. With new hiding places, buildings, and other places to explore, you'll need to find new places to loot and camp out to be the 'winner winner chicken dinner'! Plus, the new map comes with new weapons and vehicles, so you may even find a new favorite or two!
The update also including progress missions, which you can complete to earn progress rewards. The more missions you complete the harder the mission get. Plus, PUBG Mobile was also blessed with some new avatars, language-specific chat channels, and new weekly activity missions.
To see all the details and UI improvements the newest update has to offer, visit the PUBG Mobile in the App Store.
April 23, 2018: Huge updates adds a ton of new features
This is the first major update to PUBG since its launch, and it's serving up some new player modes and plenty of more variety!
The all-new Arcade Mode is a 28 player mode that players can queue up for either solo or with friends. Each Arcade match will randomly choose one of six variations, which will change the match in various ways. These variations will limit the weapons in a match to one type, for players to use no weapons at all, or by allowing players access to all weapons and items. The six variation include Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Pistols, All Weapons, Melee Only, and Item Heaven.
On top of Arcade Mode, there is now a Training Ground that allows players to practice their skills with various weapons and items, giving you the ability to practice your shooting skills.
Way To Play Brasschaat
Of course, the update also provided a lot of UI improvements, one of my personal favorites is the ability to toggle on an option to automatically open doors. Visit the PUBG Mobile in the App Store for full details.
What is PUBG Mobile?
It's a competitive third-person shooter that pits you against 99 other players in a battle for the last man standing. Starting out with nothing, you'll need to find supplies, arm yourself, and head into the fray as the environment around you gets smaller and smaller as time goes on.
How do I play?
The goal of PUBG Mobile is to be the last person alive in the match, which could have as many as 99 other players.
When you start the game, you fall from the sky with a wingsuit and a parachute and land somewhere on the giant island tasked with finding items, guns, and ammo to defend yourself and take out other players. Of course, every couple of minutes, the map gets smaller, forcing all the remaining players to converge on a specific part of the map. This forces players out of hiding and ensures that the game will end because eventually, the map gets so small that there's not anywhere to hide.
You can only carry so many guns and items at once, and once you die, you're out of the game, meaning you'll have to manage your loadout and equipment fairly often to give yourself the best chance of survival.
Is it cross-platform?
As of right now, PUBG Mobile is not cross-platform, meaning you'll only be able to play with people who have the game on their iOS devices.
Tips and tricks
Staying alive in PUBG Mobile isn't for the faint of heart, it takes some real discipline and know-how.

Fortnite is billed as a game that's essentially the same across all platforms. You can login to your Epic account and play on your phone, your PC, your PS4, your Xbox One or your Mac and all your progress carries over across all these systems. One account to rule them all, one game to bind them.
Epic has gone so far as to allow cross-play between mobile players and PC players or console players which is frankly a bit revolutionary. But the drawback of this concept is a mobile game that feels a bit too awkward to play. Outside of its clever visual-audio cues, Fortnite still feels a bit like a console game dropped clumsily into a mobile format.
PUBG, on the other hand, feels like a proper mobile game. No, there's none of the cross-play goodness of Fortnite but that doesn't really matter. Most mobile players just want to play against other mobile players anyways.
Small things like a locked auto-sprint, a cleaner UI and better handling with touch-screen controls make PUBG a more enjoyable mobile experience. It also just performs better in general, with a cleaner frame-rate (it performs better than the Xbox One version of PUBG also.)
The auto pick-up mechanic is incredibly intuitive in PUBG mobile as well, and the inclusion of bots helps make the game accessible to newcomers right off the bat. All of this adds up to one fact: PUBG mobile just feels like an actual mobile game, whereas Fortnite doesn't---at least not yet.
Is There A Real Way To Get Free Robux
Perhaps PUBG mobile's greatest weakness is still trying to be too true to the original game. The maps are just too big and the matches too long. If Tencent and PUBG Corp would give us a couple smaller maps---maybe a 2 km x 2 km map? Smaller?---it would be the perfect mobile battle royale.
Check out my in-depth comparison of the two games here.

PUBG and Fortnite: Battle Royale are battling it out on mobile now, and an interesting consensus has emerged: PUBG is the better of the two, not just in terms of gameplay, but also performance.
In some ways that's the opposite of what we see on PC and consoles, where Fortnite is widely accepted as the better-performing of the two games. (Which is better or more fun is still up for debate.)
There's one thing that PUBG does on mobile that Fortnite is still learning: It feels like an actual mobile game.
